i'm glad they've been no more sparks between us because if one jumped just a little too far out of my dreams and made contact with my gasoline imagination, there's no telling if i'll recover again.

i'll be branded with burns that sear your name into my flesh and a constant reminder of a runaway love gone wrong. we would have run to the north star because our forefathers muttered that it would always point the way but that's where this adventure takes a turn south because the universe is spiraling and we don't know what to believe anymore.

there's no constants in this equation and we're rolling dice to determine the numbers, using playing cards and chess pieces to determine the positions. i think we're just looking for something to blame,
